Module 05 · Brand & templates

House style, gently enforced.

Approvals, sender domains and branded release layouts so every story that goes out, even from a brilliant junior, looks like you wrote it on your best day.

What's inside

Brand control without becoming the brand police.

Release templates

Branded layouts for press releases, embargoed pitches, media advisories, partner spotlights and crisis statements. Built once, used by everyone.

Approval lanes

Optional sign-off paths: partner, comms lead, director, legal. Each step records who said yes, when and on which version.

Domain & sender setup

Send from press@yourdomain.com properly authenticated. SPF, DKIM and DMARC handled, so your pitches land in inboxes, not spam.

Tone-of-voice memory

The AI drafts in your house style, not generic LinkedIn-ese. Tune it on three past releases and it learns the rhythms you actually use.

Asset library

Logos, headshots, photography, fact sheets and boilerplate, all version-controlled and linked into every release with one click.

Boilerplate that updates itself

Change your 'About' paragraph in one place and every future release picks it up. No more chasing down the wrong stats from 2023.

How it works

Set your house style once. Use it everywhere.

  1. Step 01

    Import your brand kit

Logo, palette, fonts, boilerplate, spokespeople, sender domain. We rebuild your existing templates inside Press Pilot in week one.

  2. Step 02

    Set the lanes

Decide who needs to sign off what: partners on their own stories, comms leads on campaign output, directors on crisis comms. Approvals fork automatically.

  3. Step 03

    Send with confidence

Every release goes out on-brand, on-tone, from your authenticated domain. The audit trail is there if anyone ever asks.

Common questions

Brand & templates, common questions.

Can we keep our existing templates?+

Yes. Your CSM rebuilds them inside Press Pilot during onboarding so they look identical, just easier to maintain. You can also keep editing the underlying styles whenever you want.

How do approvals work for partners outside our org?+

Partners get a magic link, no account required. They review their own story, request changes or sign off. The thread is preserved so you never lose context.

Will the AI actually sound like us?+

After three calibration releases, yes. It picks up sentence length, vocabulary, the metaphors you do and don't use. You stay the editor; the AI just gets you to a better first draft, faster.

What about legal review?+

Legal can be added as an approval lane on specific release types, like crisis or commercial announcements, without slowing down everyday partner stories.
